Here are three books I recommend:

The World of 3-D, by Jacobus Ferwerda..... $45
This is the "bible" of stereo photography with 
emphasis on the technical aspects of 3d.  A "must" 
for the serious stereo enthusiast. $45

Optics in Photography, by Rudolf Kingslake.... $48
This is positively the best technical reference in 
photography!  Covers a large variety of subjects of 
interest to the stereo photographer and includes a 
chapter on stereo too.  For an in-depth review of

Super Stereogram ............................. $5
One of the best stereogram books with state of the art
(1994) stereograms and also stereopairs for parallel 
and cross eye viewing.  A real bargain at this price!
