This book is legendary as well as extremely hard to find. 

It's entitled "STEREOSCOPY", by the Russian 3d Guru N.A.Valyus. Translated
from Russian to English this book is packed with information about stereo
photography, both the bizarre and mainsteam. 426 pages, it is truly a
unique record of the medium from a Soviet perspective that appeared right
at the height of the Cold War. 

The 10 chapters include "Visual Perception of Space and Stereo Effect",
"Optical Principals of the Reproduction of Spatial Images", "Raster
Separation of Stereoscopic Images", Stereoscopic Cinematography and
Television", and others.It is packed with formulas, anaglyph and
side-by-side stereo illustrations, and an extensive Bibliography. Of
particular interest are the various Autostereo techniques that were
developed by the Russians as early as 1908.

Not for the beginner or faint of heart, this book is very technical and may
even make John Bercovitz green with envy! If your a REAL stereo history or
technique fan, ya gotta have this!!!

This book is in good condition, no torn or missing pages, some fading at
the spine. It is an ex-library copy. Includes the original red/green glasses.
