Grant...most welcome...but in all fairness to the Spicer jig, the SAM is
oranges to the Spicers apples (sounds like a recipe!)
The Spicer system, and also the RBT system, are mounts with a precision
system to help you...but neither have the magnafication and active stereo
functions of the SAM, which empowers the users eyes and mind tomake the
most critical and refined horizontal, vertical and rotational adjustments
to a stereo image.
The SAM, by the mere fact that you have ACTIVE stereo viewing while
attempting alignment, will enhance the precision of the Spicer mount
system, just as it does the RBT mount system and other 41 x 101 formats
brands...or GEPE, WESS and other 2 x 2 formats.
