Apparently, PayPal is either getting leery of handling the credit card
payments, or else they get a better deal by simply transferring actual funds
from a bank account to their seller's account. I noticed that once I provided
my bank account information to them, the bank account became the default
payment method; you have to go through a couple of extra screens to change
that if you want to pay by credit card. However, once I did provide the bank
account information, I had no problem getting increased limits on my credit
card transfers. Apparently, PayPal feels safer giving higher credit card
limits once they know you actually HAVE a bank account.
