This is interesting stuff!  Several people on this list as well as I 
would be interested in knowing what materials are available at what 
cost from where.  Also would be good to know if any of these are hardy 
materials.  (Black gold is great for the inside of cameras but I wouldn't 
call it hardy. 8-)
