Thanks for the tip on Kodak as a source.

The white papers I've checked around here are not Lambertian at
all.  They have a slight to noticeable sheen at some angle, not
necessarily the lowest angle.  I guess this could be good or 
bad in a reflector.  Maybe you'd need extra reflectivity at some 
angles.  However, The sheens seem to be at such specific and
limited angles that I can't see how it would help.  Probably I
just haven't found the correct paper yet.

How hardy is this barium sulfate?  Would one have to be careful
with it?
