I'd like to point out that Andrew's paper deals with distortions caused by
converging cameras and lenses, not the warping of an image after it's been
recorded.

It also doesn't cover turning a flat image to copy it at some relative
distortion which seemed to be one of the ideas mentioned in an earlier message.
