Ah, perhaps you could refresh my memory on vertical disparities?  
I can't seem to dredge up what it referred to and Jim C is very 
very busy until after Thanksgiving meaning we won't hear from him 
until next week.  8-(  Were vertical disparities something we'd 
see in a normal stereo pair?  I can't see how if vertical is 
defined as being parallel to the film plane and perpendicular to 
the motion of the slide bar's axis.
