I've made an Excel spreadsheet that allows you to combine lenses and 
determine the combination focal length and the combination cardinal
points' loci.  Unfortunately, the graphic I had stuck in it came unstuck 
when I converted it to a PC version (can also be opened by a Mac) so the 
graphic is up there separately.  These two things are in the temporary
T3D web site which was created and is maintained by Joel at:
http://www.frii.com/~rkymtmem/tech3d/tech3d.html  
They are called John B's "lens combination" and then XLS or GIF
