The battery will be an EPX 76 (= SR44, D357H, BS07) 

This is a Silver Oxide, high capacity device (170 mAh). Other "44" types
will have the same physical size but lower capacity. The voltage of
these others (1.5 volts nominal) will drop with the current drain of
calculators and cameras where the shutter is powered by the batteries
(eg Olympus OM series). 

The FED, however, (which is where this gets back on-topic) only uses the
batteries for metering - a low drain situation - so most 1.5 volt 44
types will work for a time, at least.
