As a side note, my personal experience with my Minolta 50/3.5 macro lens is
that at f/22 it is very sharp, possibly sharper than in wider apertures (pure
subjective evaluation by looking at the pictures, no efford was made to
measure anything). f/22 is the smallest aperture in this lens and I used it
to take advantage of the increased DOF in my last round of tabletops.
