Linear Magnification

If I use a supplementary lens on my 30mm Nimslo lenses which enables me to
get within six inches of the subject what is the linear magnification and
how is it calculated. I need the information for a folio entry which for
Macro/close ups asks for linear magnification lens/object distance and
extension/supplementaries.       P.J.Homer
