I just reread the post BobH was referring to and I see what
I was talking about was how much power went into the central
disk as a function of aperture.  I didn't see how you could
affect the central disk without changing the aperture.  So 
I didn't see how this could help contrast of out-of-focus
objects.  This was in reference to Bob's post that said there
was a way to make a sharper-edged though larger Airy disk.
Saying that I didn't see how meant only that I didn't see how,
not that there is no way.  In other words, I'd like to learn
how.
