Photogs like the enormous feeling of depth from such a lens but we pay
a high price for it, in my opinion. Just think, if the lens is actually
distortionless despite its shortness, one would have to view from half
the diagonal to get the proper perspective. Try that with a newspaper
photo printed with a 3" diagonal!
I agree, though, that even your grammer will accept such a photo now.
Years ago, she would have said "Yuck" upon seeing such perpective.
