T3D Film Duping

While everyone is here I may as well my question...
I'm interested in making high volume duplicates of stereo
images in 35mm film format. I would like to use the same
processes used by the motion picture industry.
I'm looking for someone who is familar with duping film.
Specifically the type the movie industry uses for their
typical films. I am in contact with an outfit who suggests
using Type 5248 Motion Picture Negative Film as the dupe
negative and then contact printing to the positive print
(movie) film. What I would like to knowe is if there is
a particular print film which would work best for use in
a stereo viewer. I have no idea if there are choices of
speed or grain or color balance, etc.

I would also like to know if anyone has experience with
outputing an image from Photoshop to a Film Recorder loaded
with this type (5248 or similar) of film. I'm told to make
a few trial runs to determine the correct color balance but
I'd like to do as few trials as possible.

This last one may be asking for a little too much but, when
Pixar outputed Toy Story, what film did they use and what was
the resolution of the output devices? Anybody know?!

Thanks in advance for any information you can offer.
