T3D Viewer ocular

Edmund's latest 1997 "Optics and Optical Instruments Catalog" lists a
Hastings tiplet on p. 27. Specs are Diameter = 40.30 mm with a F.L. of
40.39 mm. Description says "...reduction or elimination of pin-cushion
distortion and sperical and chromatic aberrations..." Price is $36.45.

Would this be a suitable ocular for a viewer for 5p?
