"Edmund Scientific Industrial Optics Division
1998 Optics and Optical Instruments Catalog"
Really neato stuff for only half-a-ton of money! :-)

I purchased the "next one up", the 10X Nr- D30,344 for my wife to use
at antique shows (looking at pins, etc) and is the one she lends me
from time to time to look at things. Although it's superb for this
usage, it doesn't really seem like something appropriate for slides
unless the 7X is dramatically different (I know the field is wider).
