T3D The realist macro? viewer

Can someone remind me where that illustration is that 
shows the Realist viewer with a focal length of 35 mm?
It seems to me it used a standard 43 mm cemented doublet 
but that there was an additional "helper" lens of some 
sort between it and the transparency.  Anyhow, the 
illustration clearly showed the lenses.

The lens designer we worked up some specs for at his 
request back in, what, March?, flaked out but there is
a new fellow who may be interested in designing a lens
for us, though I'm not going to push him because it's 
such a lot to ask.  I want to show the guy the illustration 
to give him an idea.  It would be great if we could convert 
our viewers with the addition of a lens.  

Has anyone looked through one of these viewers?  Is the 
image quality good?
