T3D Re Wearing my moderator hat.....

Since I am new to this list and fairly new to "that other", and
moreover I probably miss certain subtile details of English,
I suppose I should be careful. When John Bercovitz' wrote on a
"problem with something Mr. Deering did or didn't do" he might
(also?) have meant what I wrote about not reading my posting.
But that was just a joke, understandable for people who have read
the amusing discussing on P3D about filtering. I have no problem.

Now that I have learned that John Bercovitz is the (or one of the?)
moderator(s) of this list and that he does not belong to the other
list I have some questions:
Would be possible to tell new subscribers who is or who are the
moderator(s), and tell all subscibers when there is a change?
Is it possible to give some figures periodically on the numbers
of subscribers?

I find it rather amazing that John Bercovitz is moderator of this
list but doesn't read the other one, which often is on (semi) technical
subjects. This is not meant as criticism, I don't think he should explain
why, I'm just amazed.

I probably also should apologize for nearly having caused a battle.
Please understand that when I say "It is false" I don't mean "He is
false", but: "In my humble opinion there can be some sort of doubt on the
general applicability of this statement, as I understand it" :-)

But what John says on "utilizing only an extra 30 seconds of thought"
clearly is false. This should be: an extra 1 in 30 seconds.
