>what equipment I need to make field sequential films

The options I know about are:
1. NuView adapter for existing camera--just ok within operating limits.
2. Toshiba 3-D camcorder. This is a consumer camera with two lenses and
two ccd's that interlaces the signals onto VHS-C tape. Fixed focus which
can be modified somewhat with close-up lenses. Only VHS-C quality but
is well designed and easy to use and is good at what it does. Not made
anymore but qood-quality units are available between $3,000 and $5,000.
There is a good website with pictures of a Toshiba camera with a stedi-cam
and maybe someone will post the link.
3. Make a 3-D camera with a multiplexer. A multiplexer takes inputs from
two video cameras and interlaces them to field sequential video.
Multiplexers are available in composite and component varieties for as
cheap as $300 to many thousands. Most require that you have two cameras
that can be synched together or else you also need a time-base corrector.
4. VREX and others sell cameras and I believe they are even more expensive.

If you need help with 2. or 3. I might be able to assist you.
