  Since you mention Pentax lenses I'll also
mention that the 50mm f1.7 is supposed to be
the best of the Pentax normal lenses for use
on a bellows (or extension tubes). The f1.4
and f1.2 don't perform well and the f2 is just
a less good lens at all magnifications.
