What's a good way to get them to you? An easy one for you to
see is on page 22 of Stereoscopy, Series 2, Number 29. The
conditions under which that pair was taken are described on
page 18 under Example Stereo Image. The stereobase was 1/9th
of the distance to the nearest point in the scene. See if it
views OK for you.
I tried lots of odd things like that on my unfortunate fellow
club members and found mafod works fine. I say "unfortunate"
because my aesthetics leave something to be desired. But at
least their eyes still pointed forward after looking at my pairs.
Do keep in mind what maofd is trying to do. That's: Make the
pair viewable. No other claims are made.
I have no doubt George and Andrea and others with considerable
experience can do exactly the same thing without no steenkeeng
spreadsheets. I wouldn't personally have thought of a 200 mm
stereobase at 1.8 meters but they would have. That's the dif-
ference between experienced people and the rest of us.
