I got that in the first try :) From the many mails about the1/30
rule of thumb, I have got the impression, that the problem is,
that somebody forgets, that a macro (or table top) is from the
very outset unnatural. Using the 1/30 rule of thumb will make
it possible to view the stereogram, allthough it is unnatural.
I cannot understand, why this should be a problem, as we
al know from experience, that it is impossible for the human
eyes to se an object clearly in a distance of 1 or 2 inches.
We are just creating a fake and sometimes beautiful "reality"
making stereoscopic macroes (and table tops). The Deering
solution the the basedistance problem is in my opinion very
usefull to those, who are trying to make macroes or table tops.
best regards
