T3D Why T3D?

The original idea was to have a list which dealt 
with technical subjects but which had a better 
signal to noise ratio (for technical subjects) and 
which would not be subject to continual complaints 
(harangues, actually) about excessive numbers of
technical posts.  However, if technical posts are 
now being sent to P3D (and no one is complaining) 
then T3D is not serving its purpose.
