T3D no translations in ortho

Imagine a ten meter focal length lens being used to photograph the moon:
even if you moved the scope over ten meters in translation one's view of
the moon would not change. Two satellites at the same distance but
convergent at a three degree angle would make a stereo pair.
This example is intended to show how an "orthoscopic view" taken with a
long lens (or afocal system) can be used to make a pair. The good news
is that keystoning is not a factor needing correction in an ortho pair.
Also, translation of an object some fraction of the field of view of the
system will only work in non-ortho systems. (George is almost always
right)
