Whoop! I completely forgot Stereojet... it might well be a solution!

"VRex Cyberbook, Stereo3D-notebook (passive, line-sequential)" is 
mentioned in  http://www.stereo3d.com/displays.htm#polar but it is no 
longer manufactered (provided production ever started).
