- Name:   Graeme Evans

- Profession/Study:  Currently lecturer in Photography at James Cook
University in sunny north Queensland in Australia. In a previous life
I worked as a professional photographer for 17 years.

- Country:   Australia

- Personal history of photography  Started as a child with some 
ancient cameras that belonged to my parents. While at university 
studying to be a geologist, my interest rekindled and to cut a long 
story short, I never became a geologist!

- preferred subjects:  Almost anything, but love old buildings

- materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry):  I have used at one 
time or another most processes - my favourite general B&W film is 
Delta - colour varies by requirement. My IR has been confined mainly 
to Kodak b&w due to the hassles of getting colour processed in E4

- format (35mm/medium format/large format): Work in all formats but 
prefer 6x6

- Other strange hobbies:  Renovating a house, computer maniac, 
traveller whenever I can find the money!

- How did you find out about this list:  Photoforum list

- Expand on anything photographic you like:   To me the joy in
teaching in a university is that I get paid to do what I enjoy, and
to pass this on to students who want to learn.
