bio

Name:Willard Gill Profession:None. Retired (1967) U S Army, EM, Freelance
Weddings, etc. Country:USA History:Picked up photography on my own, school
of hard knocks, took army education classes on photography, wasUS Signal
Corps photogapher, assigned to Construction Engineers. After army service,
work in private investigating as surveilance photgrapher. Worked with Mamiya
twin-lense system in the 120/220 format. My only experience with IR was in
the 120 format, still have small amount of 120 negs to prove it to the
doubting thomases. The older I got the more my hands shook, even though most
all my work was on the bogen. Switched to 35mm as it was much faster and
lighter, while working for magazines, and for shooting weddings. Standards
were shot on the bogen although. Present:Wildlife and nature photography,
mostly on the standard bogen. I would like to add, as for the ball heads,
I've used many, but my favourite is the SLICK Sinle Action Panhead. How I
arrived: Just stumbled on and liked what I saw, there some very quick and
knowlegable persons here. I'm learning alot from the professionals, thanks
to all of you. Willard.
