Some things never change...

Folks

I just found this question in a photo magazine from a section calles
"That's a good question":

"S.E Heidt, New Orleans, LA. -- What is the secret of taking dramatic
infrared pictures? I tried a roll of infrared film, but it didn't come out
like the striking examples I have seen in your magazine."

This question is very familiar, isn't it?

The interesting thing is that I found this in an old copy of Popular
Photography, dated August 1958! Yes, people have been asking this same
question for at least 40 years!

So I guess you really have seen it all before, eh Ed?!!

BTW some of the camera adds are *really* groovy... like the one for the
"new" Leica M3 and the Nikon S3 and SP rangefinders. Linhof bill their
Super Technika 23's as being "The SENSIBLE cameras". <giggle>
