I thought this might fit in with the subject of maximizing grain.
I've been trying Kodak HIE in my Yashica Samurai half-frame camera.  I
wanted to see if the camera was IR fog proof and how the automatic metering
handled the IR film.  I used a red (25) filter and since there are no DX
markings on HIE film, I assume the camera defaulted the speed to 100iso.
The first roll processed looks a trifle overexposed and/or overdeveloped,
but the results are encouraging.
I'll keep you posted.
