- Name: Jan-jaap Aue

- Profession/Study: I'm A PhD student in the field of Materials 
Science (from the viewpoint of physics)

- Country: The Netherlands

- Personal history of photography : I bought my first camera (a 
Practica LTL3) at the age of 10 Some years later I replaced it with a 
Pentax SP1000 and later with Nikon FE / F3. Two years ago I went into 
MF when I bought a Mamiya C330 with 80 and 55 mm lenses. I mainly 
shoot landscapes and holliday snapshots (and doing the occasional 
wedding / PhD thesis  defence etc. ) 

- preferred subjects: Landscapes

- materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry): Afga APx100 / Ilford 
FP4 / Ilford delta 400 / Fuji Neopan 1600. All on Afga B&W paper with 
Ilford Multigrade chemistry. When using slides I use Fuji Sensia 100, 
colour film depends on the job, but I really enjoy using Agfa Ultra 
50 on 6x6, which I print myself .

- format (35mm/medium format/large format): 35mm / MF

- Other strange hobbies: rowing, restoring an old Saab Twostroke

- How did you find out about this list: usenet / www

- Expand on anything photographic you like: Time for some commercials 
:-)  I maintain the Nikon digest WWW archive and lots of info on 
Mamiya TLR cameras, so check it out ! ( I also have some scanned 
photo's on it)
