Photographing trees in autumn

I have been using Konica IR 750 film mostly on bright summer days.
With red filter the leaves come out almost white.

What happens in autumn, when the leaves are not anymore green?
Can I still get white leaves, or are they getting darker in
ir-photographs when the color is changing to yellow, red or brown?

I have not yet tried this, but maybe someone has, and can tell more.
