Curious detail: the Russians call this last film "Infrachromatic".
Doesn't sound like proper Queens English, nor scientifically 
defendable, but I still like it....8-))

Can't do that with UV film though....;-))

PS, posted this to PhotoForum recently: 
As another proof of the close interrelationship of UV and Infrared:
Prof R.W. Wood is not only know for his Wood effect of foliage on IR 
film, but seems to be even more known for his discovery/creation of 
an UV-pass filter.
Light obtained with such glass is referred to as Wood-light.
Fascinating man, deserves a statue next to the discoverer of 
IR-light, Mr William Herschell. 
(note similarity of yours truly first name with this genius....:)
