Why not: ultrachromatic. Just because the prefix "ultra" is most
often used to mean "extremely" these days doesn't mean that it can't
be used in the sense of "beyond," as in "ultramontane"--beyond the
mountain or mountains. You remind me of my son, who insists that
because "bourgeois" is used to mean "tasteless and crassly
commercial," it can no longer mean simply "middle-class."
On the other hand, IR and UV are a lot easier to type than
infrachromatic and ultrachromatic...
