I really doubt D76 will be discontiued soon. So many schools and pro labs
use it that it would be crazy for Kodak to kill it. Besides, if they did,
Ilford's ID-11 is so close to D76 buyers would just move to that developer.
This is like the rumor that Kodachrome would be discontinued a few years
back.
And, I suppose that rumor of an E-6 IR film was just hot air from Kodak
too. I think they put these ideas out there to test the waters now and
then.
