xtol developer

        hello!,

has anyone out there had the chance to use kodak's latest developer xtol
yet with hie?

i tried my first batch tonight,  and they turned out very well.  grain size
is slightly, (note slightly) less, but i noticed that my negatives were
considerably sharper(well, at least to my naked eye looking through an 8x
loupe).

interesting, i was in the mood for experimenting, so i bought an 87c filter
to shoot through and the results were incredible.
(in case you haven't noticed, i'm relatively new to ir photography.)  i
remember a post not too long ago about someone asking advice as to what
filter he should use, and wj replied with an 87c as long as you had a
tripod. so i took his advice.  hopefully i will finish my own web page soon
to show all.
