I suspect the answer is "no."  Not only is the cash outlay
intimidating, but 30 rolls should last a mighty long time and take up
a lot of space in the freezer.  But considering the extra nuissance of
handling even the pre-cartridged lengths of HIE, the idea of having to
spool it yourself is even more intimidating than the price.  And then
there's the loss of edge-printed frame numbers if you don't do your
own printing...  Whew!  I think I'll stay with the prespooled stuff.
