please correct me if i am wrong, if the just the boxes were wet, aren't
the canisters the film reside air/water tight. i went on vacation this
past summer and i kept my film in a freezer zip lock bag inside a freezer
chest. turned out the bag itself leaked water inside and thoroughly doused
my self-loaded film whereas film still in their canisters were fine. i
guess it would just boil down to whether you feel more comfortable
returning the film in the event it was damaged(although i feel that is
unlikely). and as far as it being cold, wouldn't that be better? but as
far as demanding replacement, i personnally would be pissed off if i spent
$100 or so and received items in the above shape. no i wouldn't blame you
one bit, though i think the film itself is fine.
