I have had film stored in the freezer that built up a layer of frost over
time and they get very soggy when they thaw out. As long as the
canister/wrapper is intact, you won't have any problems. A while back, I
bought some film from a dealer that was soggy and he sold it to me for half
price - the average customer wouldn't buy it because it looked bad. I guess
he didn't learn from the experience, because he kept getting the film soggy
and would call me to come down and buy some more at half price! Too bad he
went out of business - I can't imagine why.
