The only EOS bodies I am still a bit confused about is the 1000/Rebel
series (not 500/Rebel G). I thought this model changed from gear
counter to IR-counter halfway during its life (1000S, from Silent?).

The no-filter/Tungsten combo only applies to Konica, as it has a real
sensitivity gap between blue (not present in Tungsten) and red, so
that only red is recorded anyway (hence a #25 doesn't alter the
effect).
