4x5 requirements?

Anyone shooting HIE in 4x5?  I seem to remember a past post saying that the
Lisco/Fidelity holders with '5-dots' on the dark slide are infrared safe.
What I'd like to know is what type of bellows material is safe to use -
leather, plastic?
