RE: HIE in HC110

I have tried HIE in HC110 diluted at 1:31 (dilution B), 5 min at 68F,
and the negatives are quite dense. When I pull back to 4-1/2 min at 68F
(N-1), I *soften* the images a little.
One word of caution. Since it is a very fast acting developer, pre-soak
the negatives first before you pour in HC110, such that it is less
likely to streak the film.

I agree. I used D-19 at the same times and temp as above and got
extremely contrasty negatives. I would like to try HC110. Does anyone
have any suggestions as to time and temp?
Thanks.....Bobbi
