Cheap & UV-filter don't really match....8-))
This is one of the most expensive types of glass, and I doubt this is 
just because of low quantities. Only enhancement filters are more 
expensive.
I have researched the possibility of a custom filter in Cokin-P size, but the 
price was offensive (US$200). Will order one in the near future though, as 
that would fit all my lenses, even the extreme wide angles when used 
without the filter holder (it even covers my 16mm fisheye almost 
entirely).
