Regarding various responses to my two previous messages:
I already have the metal cassettes to load with 70mm film. I'm wondering
if there is a cannister or tin that the loaded cassette can be stored in.
>From a reply from W-J, I gather there is such a devise; ie, I didn't get the
full picture when I purchased 70mm film cassettes. So, where do I go
from here? I guess wrapping them in alum. foil would work, but being the
gadget fanatic I am, I feel like I should have the real McCoy.
As far as my message about the used Alden loader I saw that was
missing the "spool carrier", I can live with having to fashion something
specific to the HIE spool, but also wonder how to determine how much
film I'm loading into the cassette. Is there something else to the Alden that
isn't in the used one I looked at that let's me know this?
And a new thread to all this:
Does anyone have a used Kinderman reel and tank they want to sell? I
definitely want to be able to wind up 15 feet of film, instead of the 5 foot
limit to the Jobo 70mm reel.
So many questions, so many photos........ :=)
Thanks, Tim Coffer
