Glenn, Thanks for your reply. I know some film is more sensitive to retic.
than others. One time, I had a client that wanted retic. on purpose for a
catalog. I tried to achieve it with Ektachrome 4x5. Must have used up nearly
10 shots before I got some really observable retic. Discovered in this
instance, that the shock must occur DURING first dev., causing me to set up
two first dev baths with temp diff of 10 degrees F. On another shoot, I
placed the exposed 35mm Ekta. in the 'Fridge after exposure for about four
hours, then developed normally. That Retic. the film!!!!!! Very early in my
career, I learned about retic in b/w by not maintaining wash temp at approx
