Hello David!
Could say something about the hardware you will use to build such
a camera? Maybe I build my own, the idea exists since I have read
a book about the Viking mission back in 1988, but CCD-line sensors
were quite expensive at this time. Schuricht Elektronik offers a
2048 pixel sensor for about DM 100.-
But first I have to colplete my barn door tracker and the long
exposure timer for my cameras ...
