<i also have been
<getting numerous pinholes throughout the roll of film. they are tiny
<spots where the film is clear. however they are not like normal
<pinholes. these seem to have a more diffuse edge.
Sorry for the delay in the posting but I hope this helps.
I have experienced this with the 5x4 sheet film once. My first thought
was that it must have been dust in the darkslides as that gives a very
similar appearance, but it was not.
When the box of film was first used all was O.K. but later on these pinholes
kept appearing no matter what I tried to get ride of them. I then gave
up on that box and opened a new one and al was well.
It was my opinion that this effect occurred because the film was approaching
it's best before date and not stored in a refrigerator and must have been
associated with the aging of he film.
What I would suggest is that you make sure the film is well within the
expirery
date, and if so you try getting it from a different supplier who may have
better storage facilities.
