Mike, the colored polarizers you refer to will work great with the EIR film.
I've used the Cokin varicolor filters which use a separate polarizer with
polarized varicolor filters and the results were very rewarding. It was also
faster and easier than having to constantly change from one color filter to
another, as two primary as well as intermediate colors are produced from one
filter.
