First try
I have been crusing the net for about two weeks looking for information
about IR. I have read many articles. As soon as I complete the roll of
b&w in my camera I will try shooting IR so, I'm looking for last minute
pointers. I will be using a Minolta
SRT 101 with the lense that works for that image. Not all of the lenses
have the IR focus mark, but I think I can work around that. I have a
red 25 filter w/step-ups. I have a list of things I would like to
shoot. The ASA is still up in the air, I have seen articles that say 80
works and other that say 3200 works. Other articles say f/22 is the
best others say f/11 to f/16 is good. Shutter speed ??? I am going to
try for a bright sunny day. I'm using Kodak film. I do have a Canon
Elan II I could use but I not sure about the autofocus and I have read
about the bottom 4mm of film being fogged by something within the
camera. I don't think the autofocus will work with the the read filter
on anyway, I need to try. I thought I would send it to a local camera
shop for ddeveloping and printing. Help me.
Thanks
Ralph
