Initially, the idea of "the print club" didn't interest me, but the barrage of
postings on the subject of "what's the appropriate paper to use" does
interest me. Talk about debating something into oblivion!
Why not just send in your favorite print on your favorite paper! What a
concept; complete freedom of expression, no rules to obey. Maybe limit
the max. size to 8X10 to reduce postage costs and get the print through
the mail system intact. The image area doesn't have to be 8X10, if you
prefer a 35mm full-frame 6.66X10, or some other more panoramic
dimension.
Besides, what's so "unarchival" about RC paper? I'd say most will
probably last long after I'm dead, after which, who cares!
